I have been tuning pianos for as long as I have been playing them. A piano can be a large financial investment and should be maintained on a regular basis. Usually a tuning once or twice a year is all it takes to keep it in good working condition. This is true whether or not your piano is played on a regular basis. At the very least a piano should be tuned once a year in order to retain its value as a musical instrument.
